In 2024 I fulfilled a long-held desire to run a Yoga Retreat to Morocco. This was a wonderful success and an enriching experience for all who attended. I repeated this in 2025, and am now planning two for 2026. Dates to be confirmed.
A Yoga Retreat is a purposeful escape that combines elements of relaxation, self-refection, asana classes, meditation, chanting, peace, time and space. It gives us time for unwinding, the opportunity to disconnect with the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself. It gives us space for a digital detox, and a boost to mental and emotional well-being, supported with a wholesome and healthy nutritious diet.

Tamazirt by Amayour is a stunning and peaceful villa placed in the hills of Agouni. This rural Berber village is set in the foothills of the anti Atlas mountains, just minutes away from the coastal villages of Taghazout and Tamraght. Its location is idyllic – peaceful, tranquil and calm, yet close enough to the beaches of Taghazout.
With a mixed style of rooms, Tamazirt is inclusive as well as exclusive. There are 5 bedrooms with a total of 5 bathrooms, which can hold up to 15 guests all with aircon and heaters:
- 1 Twin with en-suite
- 1 Triple en-suite
- 1 Master double en-suite on terrace – this could be a twin or double and single
- 1 Smaller single with a double bed, own bathroom opposite room
- 1 Huge six bed sharing room with privacy curtains sectioned in areas (shared bathroom)
The house boasts a 360 degree view Shala and a private swimming pool.
